Overview
Lookah built the Seahorse 2.0 for people who want the tiniest electric nectar collector that still actually works. The Pro and Pro Plus pack in more features. This one keeps things simple.
At 148.5mm by 23.5mm by 20mm, it's tiny. Fits in your pocket, purse, or wherever. You still get variable voltage, USB-C charging, and auto-draw mode. For a $30 device, that's a lot.
If you want maximum portability or just want to try electric nectar collectors without dropping serious cash, the 2.0 makes sense.

Design & Build Quality
The size stands out immediately. It's smaller than most disposable vapes and way more discreet than the Pro models. Zinc alloy chassis handles light drops and keeps the weight down.
That LED ring around the power button looks big on such a small device. Good thing, too. You can check your voltage setting and battery status at a glance, even outside in bright sun.
Magnetic Mouthpiece
The mouthpiece snaps on magnetically instead of threading or friction-fitting. Cleaning? Just pull it off. And it won't unscrew in your pocket.
This also helps keep the whole device smaller. Small detail, big difference in day-to-day use.
USB-C Charging
Same USB-C as the Pro Plus. Reversible connector, no more guessing which way is up. Full charge in about 45 minutes. Pretty quick for something this small.
Features
Ceramic Tube Coil (Type III)
You get Lookah's Type III ceramic tube coil in the box. Ceramic hits different than quartz. Most people find it smoother with less harshness. The large surface area helps vaporize concentrates efficiently.
Want quartz instead? The 2.0 works with other Seahorse coil types, so you can swap them out.
Variable Voltage Control
Three voltage settings to choose from:
| Voltage | LED Color | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| 3.2V | Blue | Flavor-focused, light hits |
| 3.6V | Purple | Balanced experience |
| 4.1V | White | Maximum vapor |
Double-click to cycle through. The LED ring tells you where you're at.
Automatic Draw Mode
This is the feature that sells it. Inhale, and the device heats. No button pressing. If you've used draw-activated disposables, you already know how this works.
To use auto mode:
- Power on the device
- Inhale through the mouthpiece
- Device detects airflow and heats up
- Stop inhaling to stop heating
Great for quick sessions when you don't want to fumble with buttons.
Manual Mode
Prefer buttons? That works too:
- Power on the device
- Press and hold the power button
- Coil heats while you hold
- Release to stop
20 seconds max before it cuts off automatically.
Session Mode
For longer hits without holding anything:
- Triple-click the power button
- Device heats for up to 45 seconds
- Hands-free
If you like longer sessions without interruption, this is your mode.
510 Compatibility
Remove the ceramic tip and you can screw in standard 510 cartridges. Yeah, the cart will stick out past the device body because of the size. But it works. Nice bonus if you use oil carts too.
Performance
Small device, solid vapor. The ceramic tip heats fast and holds temperature well across all three voltage settings. Flavor comes through smooth thanks to the ceramic.
The auto-draw has a learning curve. Light, steady inhales work best. Pull too hard and it might not trigger. Gentle draws? Perfect every time.
Battery life is reasonable for the size. The 650mAh cell matches the Pro models. Expect 10-15 full sessions per charge depending on your voltage and session length. And when it dies, USB-C gets you back to full in under an hour.
Protection Features
Built-in safety stuff:
- Low voltage protection (auto shutoff below 3.3V or 2.95V with coil)
- High resistance protection (shutoff above 5 ohm)
- Short-circuit protection (no output below 0.5 ohm)
- Temperature protection (shutoff above 85°C)
Standard protections. Nothing to worry about here.
Who Is This For?
Portability-focused users: Need something pocket-sized? The 2.0 is the smallest Seahorse.
Entry-level dabbers: Low price, simple operation. Good way to try electric nectar collectors.
Draw-activation fans: Like inhale-activated devices? The auto mode is for you.
Minimalists: Core functionality, no extra accessories or complexity.
Budget shoppers: Under $30 for a solid electric nectar collector. Hard to beat.
Who Should Consider Alternatives?
Water pipe enthusiasts: No water pipe adapters here. Get the Pro or Pro Plus.
Heavy users: Dab all day? The battery might not keep up. Look at the Seahorse Max or Seahorse King.
Quartz purists: Want quartz in particular? The Pro Plus has a see-through quartz tip.
The Bottom Line
The Seahorse 2.0 proves small doesn't mean stripped down. Magnetic mouthpiece, USB-C charging, auto-draw. All packed into the smallest Seahorse yet.
It's not for everyone. No water pipe adapter, and quartz fans won't love the ceramic tip. But if you want portability and simplicity? This nails it.
Under $30 to try electric nectar collectors. Curious about the format or need something truly pocketable? This is a solid pick. For more options, see our guide to the best nectar collectors.
