Overview

The Lookah Seahorse 2.0 is an ultra-compact electric nectar collector designed for maximum portability. Despite its small size, it features variable voltage, automatic draw activation, and USB-C charging for a complete dabbing experience.

This manual covers everything you need to know about operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your Seahorse 2.0.

What's in the Box

Your Seahorse 2.0 kit includes:

• 1x Lookah Seahorse 2.0 device
• 1x Ceramic Tube Coil (Type III) - pre-installed
• 1x Magnetic tip cover
• 1x USB-C charging cable
• 1x Cleaning brush

Inspect all components upon unboxing. Contact Lookah support if any items are missing or damaged.

Getting Started

Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the device:

1. Connect the USB-C cable to the charging port on the device
2. Connect the other end to any 5V USB power source
3. The LED will illuminate during charging
4. Full charge takes approximately 45 minutes
5. The LED indicates when charging is complete

Powering On/Off

• Turn On: Click the power button 5 times rapidly (within 2 seconds)
• Turn Off: Click the power button 5 times rapidly

The LED ring will flash to confirm the power state change.

LED Indicator Guide

Voltage Settings:

Battery Status:

• Solid LED during use = adequate battery
• Flashing LED = low battery, charge soon
• LED during charging = charging in progress

Changing Voltage

With the device powered on, double-click the power button to cycle through voltage settings:

• Blue (3.2V) → Purple (3.6V) → White (4.1V) → Blue (3.2V)

Usage Instructions

Automatic Draw Mode

The Seahorse 2.0 features automatic draw activation:

1. Power on the device (5 clicks)
2. Select your voltage (double-click to cycle)
3. Simply inhale through the mouthpiece
4. The device automatically detects airflow and heats the tip
5. Touch the heated tip to your concentrate while continuing to inhale
6. Stop inhaling to stop heating
7. Exhale and enjoy

Tips for automatic mode:

• Use consistent, moderate inhaling pressure
• Very light draws may not trigger the sensor
• Aggressive, rapid draws may not work as well
• Steady, even inhaling produces best results

Manual Mode Operation

Traditional button-activated heating:

1. Power on the device (5 clicks)
2. Select voltage (double-click to cycle)
3. Prepare your concentrate in a heat-resistant container
4. Press and hold the power button to heat the tip
5. Touch the heated tip to concentrate while inhaling
6. Release the button when finished
7. Exhale and enjoy

Important: Maximum continuous heating in Manual Mode is 20 seconds. The device will automatically stop to prevent overheating.

Session Mode Operation

Session Mode provides extended hands-free heating:

1. Power on the device (5 clicks)
2. Select voltage (double-click)
3. Triple-click the power button
4. The device heats automatically for up to 45 seconds
5. Dab during this window without holding any buttons
6. Session ends automatically after 45 seconds

Session Mode is useful for longer dabbing sessions without button management.

Using as a 510 Battery

The Seahorse 2.0 works with 510 cartridges:

1. Power off the device
2. Unscrew the ceramic tip counterclockwise
3. Attach your 510-threaded cartridge
4. Power on (5 clicks)
5. Select appropriate voltage (start at 3.2V for most cartridges)
6. Use automatic draw or hold the button while inhaling

Note: Due to the compact device size, cartridges will extend beyond the device body. This is normal and does not affect function.

Voltage Settings

Recommendation: Start at 3.2V and increase only if you want more vapor production. Lower temperatures preserve terpene flavors.

Charging

Charging Instructions

1. Connect the USB-C cable to the device
2. Connect to any 5V USB power source
3. LED indicates charging status
4. Full charge takes approximately 45 minutes
5. Unplug when fully charged

Battery Life

Expect approximately 10-15 sessions per charge, depending on:

Charging Safety

• Use quality USB-C cables
• Do not leave unattended while charging
• Charge in a cool, dry location
• Avoid charging immediately after heavy use (let device cool first)
• Do not charge if the device is damaged

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning the Ceramic Tip

Regular cleaning maintains performance:

1. Allow the tip to cool completely (5+ minutes after use)
2. Remove the magnetic mouthpiece (pull straight off)
3. Unscrew the ceramic tip counterclockwise
4. Soak in isopropyl alcohol (90%+ recommended) for 15-30 minutes
5. Gently brush with the included cleaning brush
6. Rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly
7. Reassemble when completely dry

Frequency: Clean every few sessions or when you notice flavor changes.

Cleaning the Magnetic Mouthpiece

1. Remove the mouthpiece by pulling straight off
2. Wipe with isopropyl alcohol-dampened cloth
3. Clean the magnetic contact points
4. Dry completely before reattaching

The magnetic attachment makes this quick and easy.

Cleaning the Device Body

1. Use a dry cloth to wipe the exterior
2. For stubborn residue, use cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol
3. Keep the USB-C port clean and dry
4. Clean the airflow sensor area gently (avoid liquid in the air path)

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place
• Keep the magnetic tip cover on when not in use
• Store with 40-60% charge for extended periods
• Avoid extreme temperatures
• The compact size fits easily in protective cases

Coil Replacement

Replace the ceramic tip when:

• Flavor quality decreases significantly
• Buildup cannot be removed by cleaning
• Heating becomes inconsistent
• Visible damage appears

Safety Information

General Safety

• Adult use only - must be 21 years or older
• Keep away from children and pets
• Do not touch the heated tip - severe burn hazard
• Allow cooling between sessions
• Use only with appropriate concentrates
• Do not use if damaged or malfunctioning

Built-in Safety Protections

The Seahorse 2.0 includes multiple protections:

• Low voltage protection: Auto shutoff at 3.3V (no coil) or 2.95V (with coil)
• High resistance protection: Shutoff if resistance exceeds 5 ohm
• Short-circuit protection: No output when load is below 0.5 ohm
• Temperature protection: Auto shutoff if internal temperature exceeds 85°C
• Session timeout: 20 seconds max (manual mode) or 45 seconds (session mode)

Battery Safety

• Do not expose to extreme temperatures (below 32°F or above 113°F)
• Do not attempt to disassemble
• Do not use if battery appears swollen or damaged
• Do not submerge in water
• Dispose properly according to local e-waste regulations

Warning Signs

Stop using immediately if you notice:

• Unusual odors
• Excessive heat from the battery area
• Device swelling or deformation
• Sparking or unusual behavior
• Any leaking fluids

Troubleshooting

Automatic Mode Not Triggering

1. Ensure device is powered on
2. Inhale with steady, moderate pressure
3. Check that the airflow path is clear
4. Clean the device if residue may be blocking airflow
5. Try manual mode to verify the device is working

Weak Vapor Production

1. Increase voltage setting (double-click)
2. Ensure tip is screwed in securely
3. Clean the ceramic tip
4. Make sure concentrate contacts the heated tip
5. Try a fresh coil if heavily used

Device Getting Hot

1. Allow more cooling time between sessions
2. Use lower voltage setting
3. This is normal during extended use
4. Take breaks if the device feels uncomfortably warm

Battery Not Charging

1. Try a different USB-C cable
2. Try a different power source
3. Clean the USB-C port gently
4. Ensure proper cable connection (USB-C is reversible)

LED Not Responding

1. Try power cycle (5 clicks off, 5 clicks on)
2. Charge the device fully
3. If unresponsive after charging, contact Lookah support
