Overview

The original Yocan UNI Pro became a best-seller for good reason: it worked with almost any cart and gave you actual voltage control. The 2.0 version keeps what worked and fixes what didn't. You get a better OLED screen, finer voltage adjustments, and USB-C charging. It still fits in your pocket.

Yocan's been making vape gear for years, and they've figured out what people actually want: simple controls, solid build, fair price. The UNI Pro 2.0 works for first-time 510 box mod buyers and people upgrading from something basic alike.
Design & Build Quality
Same box mod shape as the original, just refined. At 69mm x 44mm x 22mm, it actually fits in your pocket. Not "technically fits" but actually comfortable to carry around.
Materials and Construction
It's ABS plastic with a matte finish. Yeah, metal would feel nicer. But the plastic keeps it light and you won't notice the weight after hours of pocket carry. No creaking, no flex. Solid enough.
Display and Controls

The OLED screen shows you everything at once:
- Current voltage (2.0V - 4.2V)
- Puff counter
- Battery level
- Cartridge resistance (on some models)
One button does everything. It's on the front where your thumb naturally rests. Click to fire, click patterns to change settings. Simple.
Cartridge Compartment
This is where the UNI Pro 2.0 earns its name. The dial on top adjusts width for skinny or fat cartridges. The magnetic 510 adapter moves up and down for different cart heights. I tested everything from tiny half-gram carts to wide ceramic tanks. All fit.
There's a window to check your oil level without removing the cart. Works great with clear cartridges, not so much with opaque ones.
Available Colors
Black, Silver, Red, Blue, plus occasional limited editions. Selection depends on where you buy.
Features
Precision Voltage Control

Most cheap 510 batteries give you three voltage options and call it a day. The UNI Pro 2.0 lets you adjust from 2.0V to 4.2V in 0.1V increments. That's 22 different settings instead of 3.
Why does this matter? Different cartridges and oils perform best at different voltages. Run 2.0V-2.8V for maximum flavor and smooth hits. Use 2.8V-3.4V for a balance of vapor and taste. Crank it to 3.4V-4.2V when you want clouds or your oil is thick. The point is you can actually find the sweet spot instead of settling for "close enough."
OLED Display
No more guessing what three blinks means or trying to remember if green is low or high voltage. The screen shows your voltage, battery life, and puff count. All at once. Press the button and it lights up. Done.
If you've ever squinted at colored LEDs trying to figure out your settings, you'll appreciate this.
Preheat Function

Double-click and the UNI Pro 2.0 runs a 10-second preheat cycle. This warms thick oil enough to flow without burning it. Useful in winter or with high-viscosity concentrates that don't wick well when cold.
Universal Cartridge Compatibility
The width dial and height-adjustable 510 adapter fit basically any cartridge with 510 threading. Skinny carts, fat carts, short carts, tall carts. The magnetic connection makes swapping fast, and carts stay secure once you dial in the fit.
Session Tracking
The puff counter shows on the OLED screen. Useful if you're trying to monitor how much you're using. You can reset it whenever you want.
Performance
Vapor Production
Consistent power from full battery to nearly dead. No voltage drop, no weak hits when you're running low. Just steady performance until the low battery warning kicks in.
Different carts work best at different voltages:
- Ceramic cartridges: 2.4V - 3.2V
- Wick-based cartridges: 3.0V - 3.6V
- Thick oils: 3.4V and up
Battery Life
650mAh isn't huge, but it's reasonable for the size. Here's what I saw:
- Light users (10-20 puffs/day): 2-3 days
- Moderate users (30-50 puffs/day): 1-2 days
- Heavy users (50+ puffs/day): Charge daily
USB-C gets you from empty to full in about an hour. You can't vape while charging though, so plug it in when you're not using it.
Real-World Usage
I carried this thing for 12 days and tested 10 different cartridges. The adjustable holder actually works. Carts from 9mm to 12mm diameter all locked in tight. Short carts, tall carts, no problems.
It's genuinely pocket-friendly. Light enough to forget it's there, small enough not to print through your pants. The viewing window helps with clear carts but doesn't do much for opaque ones.
Pros & Cons
Strengths:
The 0.1V increments let you dial in the exact voltage your cartridge needs. No more "close enough" with three preset options. The OLED screen tells you exactly what's happening without any guessing. And the adjustable cart holder means you buy one battery for all your carts instead of hoping things fit.
Weaknesses:
Heavy users will charge every day. That's just reality with 650mAh. The plastic body works fine but doesn't feel premium like metal alternatives. And you can't vape while it's charging.
Verdict
The UNI Pro 2.0 does what it promises. Real voltage control, a screen that tells you what you need to know, and a cart holder that fits everything. At $35, that's a lot for the money.
If you want something better than cheap pen batteries but don't need a $100 mod, this is the one to get. Works great for newcomers and long-time cart users alike. The only real question is whether 650mAh is enough for your usage. If you puff heavily, look at the UNI Pro Plus with its 900mAh battery. Everyone else will be happy here.
