Overview

The Yocan UNI Pro 2.0 is a second-generation universal 510 box mod designed for use with any 510-threaded cartridge. Featuring an OLED display, precision voltage control from 2.0V to 4.2V in 0.1V increments, and an adjustable cartridge holder, the UNI Pro 2.0 offers versatility and control in a compact, portable package.

Getting Started

Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your UNI Pro 2.0:

1. Locate the USB-C port on the bottom of the device
2. Connect the included USB-C cable to the device
3. Connect the other end to a USB power source (wall adapter, computer, or power bank)
4. The OLED display will show charging status
5. Allow 60-90 minutes for a complete charge
6. Disconnect when fully charged (battery indicator shows full)

Important: Always use the included cable or a quality USB-C cable. Avoid using fast-charging wall adapters rated above 5V/2A.

Powering On/Off

• Turn On: Click the power button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds
• Turn Off: Click the power button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds

The OLED display will briefly show the Yocan logo when powering on, then display the main interface with voltage, puff count, and battery level.

Installing a Cartridge

1. Attach the magnetic adapter: Screw the magnetic 510 adapter onto your cartridge's 510 thread (hand-tight only)
2. Adjust the width: Turn the dial on top of the device to widen or narrow the cartridge slot
3. Insert the cartridge: Drop the cartridge with attached adapter into the slot
4. Adjust the height: If the cartridge sits too high or too low, remove it and adjust the adapter's vertical position
5. Verify connection: The adapter should magnetically snap into place with the cartridge fully enclosed

Usage Instructions

Basic Operation

1. Power on the device (5 clicks)
2. Install your cartridge with the magnetic adapter
3. Set your preferred voltage (see voltage adjustment below)
4. Press and hold the power button while inhaling
5. Release the button and continue inhaling briefly
6. Exhale and enjoy

The device has a 10-second automatic cutoff for safety. If you need a longer draw, release and press again.

Voltage Adjustment

The UNI Pro 2.0 offers precise voltage control from 2.0V to 4.2V:

1. With the device powered on, click the button 3 times to enter adjustment mode
2. The current voltage will flash on the display
3. Single click to increase voltage by 0.1V
4. Continue clicking to reach your desired setting
5. After 4.2V, the voltage cycles back to 2.0V
6. Wait 3 seconds without pressing to confirm and exit adjustment mode

Tip: Start low and increase gradually. Different cartridges have different optimal voltages.

Preheat Function

The preheat function warms your cartridge for 10 seconds at low power:

1. With the device on, double-click the power button
2. The display will indicate preheat is active
3. The device will gently warm for 10 seconds
4. After preheat completes, take your draw normally

When to use preheat:

• First use of a new cartridge
• Thick or viscous oils
• Cold weather conditions
• If cartridge has been sitting unused

Reading the Display

The OLED display shows:

• Voltage: Current setting (e.g., "3.2V")
• Puff Counter: Number of puffs taken since last reset
• Battery Level: Visual indicator and/or percentage

Resetting the Puff Counter

1. With the device powered on
2. Press and hold the power button for 3-4 seconds
3. The puff counter will reset to 0
4. Release the button

Adjusting for Different Cartridges

Width Adjustment

The dial on top of the device adjusts the slot width:

• Turn clockwise to narrow the slot (for slim cartridges)
• Turn counter-clockwise to widen the slot (for wide cartridges)
• Adjust until the cartridge fits snugly without excessive pressure

Height Adjustment

The magnetic adapter can be raised or lowered:

1. Remove the cartridge and adapter from the device
2. The adapter slides up and down within the slot
3. Position the adapter so your cartridge sits fully enclosed
4. Short cartridges need the adapter raised
5. Tall cartridges need the adapter lowered

Viewing Window

The small window on the front of the device allows you to check oil levels without removing the cartridge. Visibility depends on your cartridge's transparency.

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning the Connection Points

Regular cleaning ensures reliable performance:

1. Remove the cartridge and magnetic adapter
2. Use a dry cotton swab to clean the magnetic contact points
3. Clean the 510 threads on the adapter
4. Wipe down the cartridge slot interior
5. For stubborn residue, lightly dampen the swab with isopropyl alcohol
6. Allow to dry completely before use

Cleaning the Exterior

1. Power off the device
2. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior
3. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth
4. Avoid getting moisture in the USB port or button
5. Never submerge the device in liquid

Cleaning Frequency

• Connection points: Weekly or when switching cartridge brands

• Full cleaning: Monthly for regular users

Storage

• Store at room temperature (avoid extreme heat or cold)

Troubleshooting

Device Won't Power On

1. Ensure the battery has charge - connect to USB-C charger
2. Click exactly 5 times within 2 seconds (not too slow, not too fast)
3. Check that USB-C port is clean and undamaged
4. Try a different charging cable or power source
5. Allow device to charge for at least 30 minutes before retrying

No Vapor Production

1. Verify cartridge is properly attached to magnetic adapter
2. Ensure magnetic adapter is seated in the device
3. Check that cartridge contains oil
4. Increase voltage setting
5. Try the preheat function
6. Clean connection points (adapter and device contacts)
7. Test with a different cartridge to isolate the issue

Weak or Burnt Taste

1. Lower the voltage setting
2. Allow more time between draws
3. Check cartridge oil level (low oil can cause burning)
4. Ensure cartridge isn't clogged (clear the airway if needed)
5. Use preheat function for thick oils

Cartridge Connection Issues

1. Ensure magnetic adapter is screwed on securely (hand-tight)

Device Overheating

1. Stop using immediately and let cool
