Overview
The Lookah Q7 Mini doesn't try to replace your glass. It upgrades it. Drop this little e-nail into your existing 14mm or 18mm rig and you've got electronic dabbing without abandoning glass you already love.

Why does this matter? Your glass rig filters vapor better than those tiny built-in bubblers on all-in-one devices. You're not stuck with one fixed water chamber design. And if you've already spent money on quality glass, the Q7 Mini adds electronic heating for about a quarter of what a premium e-rig costs.
The thing actually fits in your pocket too. At 85mm x 55mm x 28mm, you can carry it alongside your concentrate container and pair with glass wherever you end up.
Design & Build Quality
Functional doesn't have to mean bulky. The original Q7 got criticized for being too heavy for smaller rigs. This mini version fixes that. Works with any rig 6 inches or taller without tipping over.
One button on top handles everything: power, voltage, heating. You'll figure it out in a couple minutes. LED lights tell you the voltage setting and battery level.
The included silicone sleeve is a nice touch. Keeps the unit from slipping when it gets warm, protects against drops, and your hands stay comfortable during longer sessions.
The coil uses 710 threading and fits standard 14mm or 18mm female joints. Most dab rigs and water pipes use these sizes. Not sure about yours? Measure the joint diameter before you buy.
Features
Three Voltage Settings
Three temperature options through voltage control:
| Setting | Voltage | Temperature | LED Color | Character |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Low | 3.2V | ~350°F | Green | Maximum flavor |
| Medium | 3.6V | ~400°F | Blue | Balanced |
| High | 4.0V | ~450°F | White | Maximum vapor |
This covers the sweet spot for most people. Low settings keep terpenes intact for better flavor. High settings pump out bigger clouds if that's your priority.
10-Second Auto Preheat
Hold the power button and the coil heats gradually over 10 seconds. Your concentrate melts before hitting full temp, which makes for smoother vapor than blasting it with heat all at once.
This helps a lot with thicker stuff like shatter or live resin you've kept in the fridge.
Universal Glass Compatibility
Works with any glass piece that has a 14mm or 18mm female joint:
- Traditional dab rigs
- Water pipes/bongs
- Recyclers
- Mini rigs
- Scientific glass
So you're not stuck with one filtration design. Pair it with whatever glass you prefer, whether that's heavy percolation or simple direct flow.
Portable Battery System
The 950mAh battery gets you 80-100 heat cycles per charge. That's days of normal use. USB-C charging fills it up in about 60 minutes, and you probably already have cables lying around.
Small enough to pocket, battery lasts long enough to matter. Take the Q7 Mini and your concentrates, then use whatever glass is available when you get there.
Performance
For something this small, the Q7 Mini punches above its weight. The 710 quartz dish heats up within that 10-second preheat window. Vapor production does what you'd expect: big clouds on high, better flavor on low.
Here's the real advantage though. Using this with a proper glass rig beats those tiny built-in bubblers on all-in-one devices. Better filtration means smoother, cooler vapor. That's the whole point of the e-nail approach: you get electronic convenience without giving up quality water filtration.
One thing to know: the coil is smaller than dedicated e-rigs. Keep your loads moderate. This works great if you like taking several small dabs rather than one massive hit. Overload it and you'll get spillage and weaker performance.
Battery life holds up. The 80-100 cycle claim checks out in real use, which translates to multiple days between charges. And with 60-minute charging, you can top it off quick before leaving.
That silicone sleeve? Actually useful. The device warms up during longer sessions and the sleeve keeps your hands comfortable. Also stops it from sliding around on glass surfaces.
Pros & Cons
The Q7 Mini does one thing well: it adds electronic heating to glass you already own. Compact enough to travel, battery lasts for days, and under $50 makes it easy to try electronic dabbing. Pair it with good glass and you get better filtration than most all-in-one devices.
The downsides come with the e-nail territory. You need compatible glass or it's useless. The coil is smaller so you can't load it heavy. And Lookah didn't include a USB-C cable, which is a little annoying at this price.
Who Is This For?
Glass collectors: You've got nice glass. This lets you use it electronically instead of replacing it.
Travelers: Pocket the Q7 Mini, bring your concentrates, use whatever glass is available.
Budget shoppers: Electronic dabbing under $50 if you already own a compatible rig.
Flavor chasers: Pair with quality glass for filtration that beats built-in bubblers.
E-rig curious: Try electronic dabbing without dropping serious money on an all-in-one.

The Bottom Line
The Q7 Mini fills a specific gap. You've got glass you like. You want electronic heating. You don't want to spend $200+ on an all-in-one device. This solves that problem for under $50.
Battery lasts days, charges in an hour, works with most rigs, fits in your pocket. Pair it with good glass and you've got an electronic dab setup that performs better than a lot of pricier alternatives with their tiny built-in bubblers.
If you love your glass and want electronic convenience without replacing it, the Q7 Mini makes sense.
