Overview

The Lookah Q7 Mini is a portable e-nail that converts your existing glass dab rig into an electronic dabbing setup. Rather than a complete e-rig with built-in water filtration, the Q7 Mini provides the electronic heating component to pair with your preferred glass.

This manual covers setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for the Q7 Mini. Understanding proper use ensures optimal performance with your glass rigs.

What's in the Box

Your Lookah Q7 Mini kit includes:

• 1x Lookah Q7 Mini e-nail unit
• 2x 710 Type A quartz dish coils (1 pre-installed, 1 spare)
• 1x Silicone protective sleeve
• 1x User manual

Not included: USB-C charging cable. You will need to provide your own USB-C cable for charging.

Getting Started

Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your Q7 Mini:

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the device
2. Connect a USB-C cable (not included)
3. Connect to a 5V USB power adapter
4. LED indicates charging status
5. Charge for approximately 60 minutes until full
6. Disconnect when charging is complete

Glass Compatibility

The Q7 Mini works with glass featuring 14mm or 18mm female joints:

Compatible:

• Standard dab rigs with female joints
• Water pipes/bongs with female joints
• Recyclers with 14mm or 18mm female connections
• Mini rigs (6 inches or taller recommended)

Not Compatible:

• Male jointed glass (the Q7 Mini needs to insert into the joint)
• 10mm joints or non-standard sizes
• Very small rigs under 6 inches (stability concerns)

Assembly

1. Ensure the silicone sleeve is on the Q7 Mini for protection
2. Thread a 710 quartz coil into the unit if not pre-installed
3. Insert the Q7 Mini into your glass rig's female joint
4. The coil should face upward into the glass chamber
5. Ensure the fit is secure but don't force it

Powering On/Off

• Turn On: Click the power button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds
• Turn Off: Click the power button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds
• Auto-Off: Device powers off after extended inactivity

The LED will illuminate when powered on.

Usage Instructions

Basic Operation

1. Set up glass: Insert the Q7 Mini into your rig's female joint
2. Add water: Fill your glass rig with water as usual
3. Power on with 5 rapid clicks
4. Select voltage by double-clicking to cycle settings
5. Load concentrate using a dab tool - rice-grain sized amounts work best
6. Press and hold the power button to heat
7. Wait for preheat - 10-second automatic cycle warms concentrate
8. Inhale through your glass rig as vapor forms
9. Release the button when finished
10. Power off with 5 rapid clicks

Voltage/Temperature Settings

Double-click to cycle through settings:

Tips:

• Start low and increase as desired
• Higher temperatures consume concentrate faster
• Lower temperatures preserve delicate terpenes
• The device remembers your last setting

10-Second Auto Preheat

The Q7 Mini features automatic preheating:

1. Press and hold the power button to begin heating
2. Preheat engages automatically at reduced power
3. For 10 seconds, concentrate warms and melts evenly
4. Full heating follows the preheat cycle
5. Begin inhaling when vapor becomes visible

The preheat function:

• Creates smoother, more consistent vapor
• Prevents harsh hits from sudden heat
• Works especially well with thick concentrates
• Engages automatically - no separate activation needed

Loading Concentrate

For best results with the Q7 Mini's compact coil:

1. Use a quality dab tool (not included)
2. Collect a rice-grain sized amount of concentrate
3. Place directly on the quartz dish coil
4. Avoid overloading - smaller amounts work better
5. Multiple small dabs outperform single large loads

Why smaller loads? The compact coil design heats efficiently but has limited surface area. Overloading causes:

• Concentrate spillage onto glass joint
• Uneven heating
• Clogged airflow
• Wasted material

Charging

Charging Procedure

1. Remove the Q7 Mini from your glass rig
2. Connect a USB-C cable to the charging port
3. Connect to a 5V USB power adapter
4. LED indicates charging status
5. Full charge takes approximately 60 minutes
6. Disconnect when complete

Charging Safety

• Use 5V adapters only

Care & Maintenance

After Each Session

1. Remove the Q7 Mini from glass while coil is slightly warm
2. Use a cotton swab to wipe residue from the coil
3. Clean your glass rig as usual
4. Store the Q7 Mini in a safe location

Weekly Cleaning

Coil:

1. Remove from the unit by unscrewing
2. Soak in isopropyl alcohol (90%+) for 20-30 minutes
3. Use cotton swabs for stubborn residue
4. Rinse with warm water
5. Dry completely before reinstalling

Unit:

1. Wipe exterior with a slightly damp cloth
2. Clean the 710 threading with a dry cotton swab
3. Keep the USB-C port clean and dry
4. Never submerge the unit in liquid

Silicone Sleeve:

1. Remove from unit
2. Wash with warm soapy water
3. Rinse thoroughly
4. Air dry completely before replacing

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place
• Keep the silicone sleeve on for protection
• Remove from glass rigs during storage
• Avoid extreme temperatures
• Store coils in a clean container

Coil Replacement

Replace the coil when:

• Flavor degrades
• Vapor production decreases
• Cleaning doesn't restore performance
• Physical damage is visible

To replace:

1. Unscrew the old coil counter-clockwise
2. Dispose of properly
3. Thread new coil clockwise
4. Hand-tighten only
5. Run a brief heating cycle before loading concentrate
