We don’t review lighters often but we thought this was a very unique design and fits with our target audience pretty well. DISSIM‘s claim as the world’s first soft flame lighter that can be ignited and remain lit at any angle, making it suitable for both upright and inverted use. The lighter received funding from over 7,000 backers, surpassing its goal and ranking in the top 0.2% of Kickstarter campaigns for the most backers. It was also selected as a “Project We Love” by Kickstarter. The Dissim Lighter features a patent-pending circular grip and began shipping to backers in September 2020, after which it became available for purchase through the company’s online store and other retailers.

The Dissim Lighter is a unique device that utilizes a soft flame, which offers a lower temperature than a traditional torch flame. This flame is less focused and will move around slightly in the presence of a breeze. The body of the lighter is made of durable cast metal components and measures 3.5 inches in length, 1.8 inches in width, and 0.6 inches in thickness. It weighs 3 ounces and has a fuel capacity of 2 grams.
