Overview

The Wulf Mods UNI 3.0 is a universal 510 battery with adjustable cartridge fit, digital display, and precise voltage control. Its unique adjustment system accommodates virtually any 510-threaded cartridge from 11-16mm diameter and 42mm+ height.

This manual covers setup, cartridge fitting, voltage adjustment, display customization, and maintenance.

Getting Started

Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your UNI 3.0:

1. Connect the USB-C cable to the device
2. Connect to a USB power source
3. Allow 1 hour for initial charge
4. Display will indicate full charge when complete

Note: Subsequent charges typically take 1 hour or less.

Installing the Magnetic Adapter

The magnetic adapter connects your cartridge to the battery:

1. Locate the 510 magnetic adapter (small disc with center pin)
2. Screw the adapter onto your cartridge's 510 threading
3. Tighten until snug—do not overtighten
4. The adapter is now attached to your cartridge

The magnetic connection allows easy cartridge swapping without re-threading.

Adjusting Cartridge Fit

Width Adjustment (Top Dial)

The top dial expands or contracts the cartridge chamber:

1. Turn the dial clockwise to expand (larger cartridges)
2. Turn the dial counter-clockwise to contract (smaller cartridges)
3. Range: 11mm to 16mm diameter
4. Adjust until your cartridge fits snugly without forcing

Height Adjustment (Back Slider)

The back slider raises or lowers the cartridge position:

1. Slide up to raise the cartridge (taller cartridges)
2. Slide down to lower (shorter cartridges)
3. The mouthpiece should be accessible above the device
4. Fits cartridges 42mm and taller

Inserting Your Cartridge

1. Ensure the magnetic adapter is attached to your cartridge
2. Adjust width and height for your cartridge size
3. Drop the cartridge into the chamber—magnet will hold it
4. Verify the cartridge sits securely without wobbling

Powering On/Off

• Turn On: Click the power button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds
• Turn Off: Click the power button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds

The display will illuminate when powered on.

Voltage Settings

Voltage Range

The UNI 3.0 adjusts from 1.8V to 4.2V in 0.1V increments:

Voltage	Best For
1.8-2.4V	Thin oils, maximum flavor preservation
2.5-3.0V	Standard cartridges, balanced performance
3.1-3.6V	Thicker oils, increased vapor
3.7-4.2V	Very thick concentrates, maximum vapor

Adjusting Voltage

1. Power on the device (5 clicks)
2. Press and hold the + button to increase voltage
3. Press and hold the - button to decrease voltage
4. Watch the display for current setting
5. Release when desired voltage is reached

The device remembers your setting when powered off.

Voltage Recommendations

• Start low: Begin at 2.4-2.8V for new cartridges
• Adjust based on vapor: Increase if vapor is thin
• Protect flavor: Lower voltages preserve terpenes
• Thick oils: May require 3.2V+ to flow properly

Preheat Function

The preheat function warms thick oils before drawing:

Activating Preheat

1. Double-click the power button
2. Display shows 10-second countdown
3. The device gently warms the cartridge
4. Draw after countdown completes

When to Use Preheat

• First use of a new cartridge
• Thick or viscous oils
• Cold weather use
• When vapor seems weak on first draw

Display Customization

Accessing the UI Menu

1. With device powered on, triple-click the power button
2. Display enters UI selection mode
3. Use +/- buttons to scroll through options
4. Press power button to confirm selection

Safety Features

15-Second Cutoff

The device stops heating after 15 seconds of continuous use:

• Display shows "OVERTIME" warning
• Release the button to reset
• Press again to continue heating
• This prevents overheating

Additional Protections

• Low battery warning: Alerts before shutdown
• Short circuit detection: Stops if circuit issues detected
• Overheat protection: Prevents excessive temperature

Maintenance

Regular Care

1. Wipe the device with a dry cloth
2. Clean the cartridge chamber occasionally
3. Keep the USB-C port free of debris
4. Check the magnetic adapter for residue

Cartridge Contacts

1. Remove the cartridge
2. Inspect the magnetic adapter contacts
3. Clean with a dry Q-tip if needed
4. Ensure contacts are free of oil residue

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place
• Keep away from extreme temperatures

Troubleshooting

Device Won't Power On

1. Charge for at least 30 minutes
2. Click exactly 5 times within 2 seconds
3. Check USB-C port for debris
4. Try a different charging cable

Cartridge Not Firing

1. Verify magnetic adapter is attached
2. Check cartridge is seated properly
3. Clean contacts on adapter and cartridge
4. Ensure cartridge has oil remaining
5. Increase voltage for thick oils

OVERTIME Warning

This is the 15-second safety feature:

1. Release the power button
2. Wait a moment
3. Press and hold again to continue
4. Normal operation—not an error

Cartridge Doesn't Fit

1. Adjust top dial for width (11-16mm range)
2. Adjust back slider for height
3. Ensure magnetic adapter is attached
4. Check cartridge is 510-threaded

Weak Vapor

1. Increase voltage setting
2. Use preheat function (2 clicks)
3. Clean cartridge contacts
4. Check oil level in cartridge
5. Cartridge may be depleted

Display Issues

1. Ensure device is charged
2. Power cycle (5 clicks off, 5 clicks on)
3. The display should illuminate when on
4. Contact support if display fails
