Overview

The Lookah Seahorse Pro Plus is an advanced electric nectar collector designed for convenient, flavorful concentrate consumption. This versatile device functions as a nectar collector with its premium quartz tip, works as a 510 cartridge battery, and connects to water pipes for filtered hits.

This manual covers everything you need to know to get the most from your Seahorse Pro Plus, including setup, operation modes, voltage settings, and maintenance procedures.

Your Seahorse Pro Plus kit includes:

Getting Started

Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your Seahorse Pro Plus:

1. Connect the USB-C cable to the device's charging port
2. Connect the other end to a 5V USB power source
3. The LED will illuminate red during charging
4. When fully charged, the LED turns cyan
5. Full charge takes approximately 1 hour

Note: While you can use the device while charging, we recommend fully charging before first use for optimal battery health.

Powering On/Off

• Turn On: Click the power button 5 times rapidly
• Turn Off: Click the power button 5 times rapidly

The LED will flash to confirm power state change. The device automatically turns off after 5 minutes of inactivity to preserve battery.

Understanding the LED Indicators

Usage Instructions

Basic Nectar Collector Operation (Manual Mode)

1. Power on the device (5 clicks)
2. Select voltage by clicking the button twice to cycle through settings
3. Prepare your concentrate in a heat-resistant container
4. Press and hold the power button to heat the quartz tip
5. Touch the heated tip to your concentrate while inhaling through the mouthpiece
6. Release the button and enjoy the vapor
7. Repeat as desired, allowing the tip to cool briefly between hits

Important: The maximum continuous heating time in Manual Mode is 20 seconds. The device will automatically stop heating after 20 seconds to prevent overheating.

Session Mode Operation

Session Mode provides hands-free operation, ideal for use with water pipes:

1. Power on the device (5 clicks)
2. Select your desired voltage (2 clicks to cycle)
3. Triple-click the power button within 1.5 seconds to activate Session Mode
4. The LED will flash, indicating preheat phase (15 seconds)
5. After preheat, the device maintains temperature for 30 seconds
6. Dab during this 30-second window without holding the button
7. Session automatically ends after 45 seconds total

Tip: Session Mode is perfect for water pipe use, where holding the button while managing the rig can be awkward.

Using as a 510 Battery

The Seahorse Pro Plus doubles as a 510 cartridge battery:

1. Power off the device
2. Unscrew the quartz tip counterclockwise
3. Attach your 510-threaded cartridge
4. Power on (5 clicks)
5. Select voltage appropriate for your cartridge (start low)
6. Inhale while pressing the power button

Most oil cartridges work best at lower voltage settings (3.2V or 3.6V). Higher viscosity oils may require 3.6V or 4.1V.

Voltage/Temperature Settings

Setting	LED Color	Best For
3.2V	Blue	Flavor preservation, light hits, low-temp dabs
3.6V	Purple	Balanced vapor and flavor, most concentrates
4.1V	White	Maximum vapor, thick clouds, higher-temp dabs

Recommendation: Start at 3.2V and increase only if you want more vapor production. Lower temperatures preserve terpenes and deliver smoother hits.

Water Pipe Connection

To use with a water pipe or dab rig:

1. Remove the standard mouthpiece tip if applicable
2. Connect one end of the silicone hose to the Seahorse mouthpiece
3. Attach the other end of the hose to the 14/18mm adapter
4. Insert the adapter into your water pipe's downstem joint
5. Add water to your pipe as normal
6. Use Session Mode for easiest operation with water pipes
7. Inhale through the water pipe while the Seahorse heats

The water filtration significantly cools and smooths your hits.

Charging

Charging Instructions

1. Connect the included USB-C cable to the device
2. Connect to any 5V USB power source (wall adapter, computer, power bank)
3. Red LED indicates charging in progress
4. Cyan LED indicates full charge
5. Charging takes approximately 1 hour from empty

Battery Life

Expect approximately 30-40 quick sessions per full charge, depending on:

• Voltage setting used (higher voltage = more battery drain)

Charging Safety

• Use only the included cable or a certified USB-C cable
• Do not leave unattended while charging overnight
• Charge in a cool, dry location
• Unplug once fully charged
• Do not charge if the device is damaged or wet

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning the Quartz Tip

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and flavor:

1. Allow the tip to cool completely after use
2. Remove the tip by unscrewing counterclockwise
3. Soak in isopropyl alcohol (90%+ recommended) for 15-30 minutes
4. Use the included brush to gently scrub residue
5. Rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly
6. Reattach when completely dry

Frequency: Clean after every few sessions for best flavor, or whenever you notice buildup.

Cleaning the Vapor Path

1. Remove the quartz tip
2. Use a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol
3. Gently clean the interior threading and vapor path
4. Allow to dry completely before reassembling

Cleaning the Glass Mouthpiece

1. Remove the mouthpiece if detachable
2. Soak in isopropyl alcohol
3. Rinse thoroughly with warm water
4. Dry completely before use

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place
• Keep the magnetic cap on the tip when not in use
• Store with some battery charge (40-60% ideal for long-term storage)
• Keep away from extreme temperatures
• Use a protective case for travel

Coil/Tip Replacement

The quartz tip is a consumable component. Replace when:

• Flavor quality decreases noticeably
• Heavy buildup cannot be removed by cleaning
• Tip shows visible damage or discoloration
• Heating becomes uneven

Compatible replacement coils include Lookah Seahorse Types I through V.

Safety Information

General Safety

• Adult use only - must be 21 years or older
• Keep away from children and pets at all times
• Do not use if the device is damaged, wet, or malfunctioning
• Allow cooling between sessions to prevent overheating

Troubleshooting

Device Won't Turn On

• Charge the battery fully
• Ensure you're clicking 5 times rapidly (within 2 seconds)
• Try a different USB-C cable or power source
• Check for debris in the charging port

Weak Vapor Production

• Increase the voltage setting
• Ensure the quartz tip is clean
• Make sure concentrate contacts the heated tip directly
• Check that the tip is screwed in securely

Device Gets Hot

• Allow more cooling time between sessions
• Use lower voltage settings
• This is normal during extended use - take breaks

Charging Issues

• Clean the USB-C port with compressed air
• Try a different cable
• Try a different power source
• Ensure proper cable connection

LED Not Responding

• Try turning off and on (5 clicks)
• Fully charge the device
• If unresponsive after charging, contact support
