Overview

The Pulsar 510 Hall Pass is a discreet 510 cartridge battery designed to look exactly like an ordinary highlighter marker. Featuring five voltage presets, both auto-draw and button activation, an 8-second preheat function, and USB-C charging, the Hall Pass combines genuine stealth with legitimate vaporizer functionality.

Getting Started

Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the Hall Pass:

1. Locate the USB-C port on the device (covered by silicone plug)
2. Remove the silicone port cover
3. Connect the USB-C cable to the device
4. Connect to a USB power source
5. LED indicator shows charging status
6. Allow 60-90 minutes for complete charge
7. Disconnect and replace silicone cover when done

Important: Use standard 5V USB power sources. The silicone cover protects the port; replace it after charging.

Understanding the Device

Key Components:

• Cap: Removable top that conceals cartridge; serves as mouthpiece
• Body: Contains battery and 510 port
• Base Button: Power, voltage control, and activation
• LED Indicator: Shows voltage setting and battery status
• USB-C Port: Charging (protected by silicone cover)

Powering On/Off

• Turn On: Click the base button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds
• Turn Off: Click the base button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds

LED flashes to confirm power state changes.

Installing a Cartridge

1. Remove the cap by pulling firmly (it pops off like a real highlighter)
2. Locate the 510 port inside the body
3. Screw your cartridge into the port (hand-tight only)
4. Replace the cap over the cartridge:
   • For cartridges up to 2g, the cap should fit completely
   • If the cap doesn't fit, use the device without the cap
5. Verify the cartridge is secure and the cap is seated

Cap-On vs. Cap-Off Operation

Cap On (Full Disguise):

• Cartridges up to 2g capacity
• Inhale through the cap tip
• Complete highlighter appearance maintained
• Auto-draw works through cap airpath

Cap Off (Standard Operation):

• Any 510 cartridge works
• Inhale directly from cartridge mouthpiece
• Highlighter body shape maintained but cartridge visible
• Better for larger or oddly-shaped cartridges

Usage Instructions

Basic Operation

1. Power on the device (5 rapid clicks)
2. Install your cartridge (see above)
3. Select voltage (see below)
4. Activate:
   • Auto-draw: Inhale through cap tip (or cartridge if cap-off)
   • Button: Press and hold base button while inhaling
5. Draw slowly for 3-5 seconds
6. Release and exhale

The device has a 10-second auto-cutoff for safety.

Voltage Settings

Click the base button to cycle through five voltage presets:

Preheat Function

The 8-second preheat gently warms cartridges to thin thick oil:

1. With device powered on, double-click the base button
2. LED indicates preheat activation
3. Device warms for 8 seconds at low power
4. After completion, draw normally

When to Use Preheat:

• First use of a new cartridge
• Thick or viscous oil formulations
• Cold weather conditions
• When cartridge seems clogged or restricted
• After cartridge has been sitting unused

Activation Methods

Auto-Draw:

• Simply inhale through the mouthpiece (cap tip or cartridge)
• Sensor detects airflow and activates heating

• Works through cap or directly from cartridge

Button Activation:

• Press and hold the base button while inhaling
• Provides precise control over activation timing
• Useful when auto-draw needs supplementation
• Works with both cap-on and cap-off configurations

For maximum stealth operation:

1. Use with cap in place for complete highlighter appearance
2. Utilize auto-draw to eliminate button pressing

Troubleshooting

Device Won't Power On
