Overview

The Lookah Unicorn Mini is a compact electric dab rig designed for portable concentrate consumption. Despite its small size (just 6.5 inches tall), it delivers full e-rig functionality including water filtration, variable voltage, and quality quartz coils.

This manual provides complete instructions for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your Unicorn Mini. Following these guidelines ensures optimal performance and longevity from your device.

Your Lookah Unicorn Mini kit includes:

Getting Started

Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your Unicorn Mini:

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the device base
2. Connect the included USB-C cable
3. Connect to a 5V USB power adapter
4. The LED will illuminate during charging
5. Charge for 60-90 minutes until fully charged
6. Disconnect when charging is complete

Important: Use only 5V charging adapters. Higher voltage adapters may damage the battery permanently.

Assembly

The Unicorn Mini comes partially assembled:

1. The first coil is pre-installed in the base
2. Attach the glass bubbler to the base (magnetic or friction fit depending on variant)
3. Add water through the top opening - fill just above the percolator holes
4. Attach the silicone mouthpiece cover for protection during transport

Powering On/Off

• Turn On: Click the power button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds
• Turn Off: Click the power button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds
• Auto-Off: Device automatically powers off after 5 minutes of inactivity

The LED will illuminate when powered on, showing the current voltage setting color.

Usage Instructions

Basic Operation

1. Power on the device with 5 rapid clicks
2. Check water level - should cover the percolator holes
3. Select voltage by double-clicking to cycle settings
4. Load concentrate using the included dab tool - use a rice-grain sized amount
5. Preheat (optional) by pressing and holding briefly for 8-second warm-up
6. Heat and inhale by pressing and holding while drawing through the mouthpiece
7. Release the button when finished with your draw
8. Power off with 5 rapid clicks when session is complete

Voltage Settings

Double-click the power button to cycle through voltage options:

Tips:

• Start on low voltage and increase if desired
• Terpy concentrates taste best at lower settings
• Higher settings consume concentrate faster
• The device remembers your last setting

8-Second Preheat Function

The preheat function warms concentrate before full heating:

1. Press and hold the power button
2. The device enters preheat mode at reduced power
3. After approximately 8 seconds, the concentrate melts evenly
4. Continue holding for full heating or release and restart for a fresh hit
5. Preheat helps with thicker concentrates that benefit from initial warming

LED Indicator Guide

The Unicorn Mini communicates through LED colors and patterns:

Red flashing (5x) + vibration	Low battery - charge needed

Water Level

Proper water level ensures optimal filtration:

1. Remove the mouthpiece cover if attached
2. Add water through the top opening
3. Fill until water just covers the percolator holes
4. Do not overfill - water should not splash into the mouthpiece
5. Test with a dry draw (no heating) to check for splashing
6. Pour out excess if water reaches your mouth

Charging

Charging Procedure

1. Connect the included USB-C cable to the charging port
2. Connect to a 5V USB power adapter
3. LED indicates charging status
4. Full charge takes 60-90 minutes
5. Disconnect when fully charged

Charging Safety

Care & Maintenance

After Each Session

1. Allow the device to cool completely
2. Use a cotton swab to wipe residue from the warm (not hot) coil
3. Empty the bubbler water
4. Wipe the mouthpiece clean

Weekly Cleaning

Glass Bubbler:

1. Remove from the device base
2. Empty all water
3. Fill with isopropyl alcohol (90%+ recommended)
4. Let soak for 15-30 minutes
5. Shake gently to dislodge residue
6. Rinse thoroughly with warm water
7. Dry completely before reassembly

Coil:

1. Remove by unscrewing counter-clockwise
2. Soak in isopropyl alcohol for 20-30 minutes
3. Use a cotton swab for stubborn residue
4. Rinse with warm water
5. Dry completely before reinstalling

Base:

1. Wipe exterior with a slightly damp cloth
2. Clean threading with a dry cotton swab
3. Never submerge the base in liquid
4. Keep the USB-C port dry and clear of debris

Storage

For best results:

• Empty and dry the bubbler
• Remove the coil if storing for extended periods
• Store upright in a cool, dry location
• Use the silicone mouthpiece cover during transport
• Keep away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures

Coil Replacement

Replace the coil when:

• Flavor becomes muted or unpleasant
• Vapor production decreases significantly
• Buildup cannot be cleaned effectively
• Physical damage is visible

To replace:

1. Remove the old coil by unscrewing counter-clockwise
2. Dispose of properly
3. Thread the new coil clockwise into the base
4. Hand-tighten only - do not overtighten
5. Run a brief heating cycle to burn off any manufacturing residue before loading concentrate
