Single-cart concealers are discreet. The Canndual Extreme went further by fitting two 510-thread cartridges inside while hiding both completely.
The dual-cart setup solved an obvious problem. Want a sativa for the day and an indica for night? Load both and switch with a button press. No swapping cartridges, no carrying extras.
Design & Build Quality
The Canndual Extreme had HoneyStick's typical rugged build. It's bigger than single-cart concealers (it has to be), but the company kept it pocket-friendly despite housing two carts.
Both cartridges stayed fully hidden. Closed up, it looked like a random electronic gadget. If you needed discretion, this delivered.
Several color options let you pick a finish that worked for you.
Features
Dual Cartridge Capacity
The main draw was holding two 510-thread cartridges at once. A selector let you switch between them without opening anything or swapping parts.
Useful for:
- Strain switching - Keep a daytime and nighttime cart loaded
- Backup capacity - One runs dry, the other's ready
- Variety - Switch flavors whenever you want
Full Concealment
Same approach as other HoneyStick concealers. Both carts stayed completely hidden. Nothing visible from outside.
Standard 510 Threading
Works with standard 510-thread cartridges, so compatibility wasn't an issue.
Performance
The Canndual Extreme performed reliably in our testing. The switching mechanism worked smoothly, and the device fired consistently every time.
Battery life was decent for a dual-cart device. Two cartridges means more use, so you'll charge more often than with single-cart devices. That's the tradeoff.
Why Was It Discontinued?
HoneyStick never said why they stopped making the Canndual Extreme. Could be newer designs coming, could be manufacturing reasons. Hard to say.
They still sell other dual-cartridge options, including similar concealer-style devices.
For Existing Owners
Got a Canndual Extreme already? Keep it going:
- Clean the contacts with isopropyl alcohol
- Charge before the battery fully dies to extend its life
- Store somewhere cool and dry
- Any standard 510-thread cartridge works
Alternatives
Looking for something similar? Check these HoneyStick options:
- Elf THC Box Concealer - Single-cart concealer with 550mAh battery
- Elf Canndual Pro - Another dual-cart option (availability varies)
See the HoneyStick brand page for their current lineup.
The Bottom Line
The Elf Canndual Extreme did something useful: two carts, one device, both hidden. HoneyStick doesn't sell it anymore, but it showed they were willing to push the concealer format forward.
If you own one, it still works great. If you want similar functionality, HoneyStick has other concealer-style batteries available now.
