Every multi-cartridge user has asked the same question: why do I have to unscrew this thing every time I want to switch? The Cartisan Veil Bar Duo fixes that. Load two carts, click a button, switch instantly. No fumbling with threads.

Features Tested
Dual cart, water pipe adapter
For $29 you get an LCD display, 5 voltage settings, preheat mode, and a 14mm water pipe adapter in the box. All in something that fits in your palm.
Design & Build Quality
The Veil Bar Duo looks like a chunky disposable vape. That's intentional. The soft-touch finish feels good in hand. At 136g it's substantial but not heavy.
Dual Cartridge System
Two 510-threaded ports on top, each accepting cartridges up to 2G. Your carts sit side by side in recessed wells that keep them from getting knocked around.
The side button toggles which cart is active. Quick press, switch from Cart 1 to Cart 2, LCD confirms your selection. Simple and it works.
LCD Display
The full-color LCD shows what you need at a glance:
- Active cartridge indicator (1 or 2)
- Current voltage setting
- Battery percentage
Bright and readable, even outdoors. Updates in real-time as you toggle settings or switch carts.
Form Factor
At 3.75" x 2" x 1", it fits in a pocket but you'll know it's there. The soft-touch coating resists fingerprints and gives you good grip. Looks more like a tech gadget than vape gear, so it's pretty discreet.
Features
Five Voltage Settings (1.8V - 3.8V)
Five power levels:
- 1.8V - Ultra-low for thin oils, max flavor
- 2.2V - Low, great terpene preservation
- 2.6V - Balanced everyday setting
- 3.2V - More vapor production
- 3.8V - Max power for thick distillates
This covers pretty much any cartridge. The 1.8V floor is great for live resin carts that taste best at low temps.
Preheat Function
Double-click for preheat mode. Gently warms your cart for better oil flow. Useful for thick concentrates or cold weather.
Inhale Activation
Inhale-activated only, no manual fire button. The draw sensor is responsive and consistent, activating reliably without false triggers. Some people prefer button activation for more control, but the auto-draw works well here.
Water Pipe Adapter
Cartisan throws in a 14mm water pipe adapter. Connect the Veil Bar Duo to compatible glass pieces for filtered, cooled vapor. Nice freebie.
Performance
Vapor Quality
I tested 6 different cartridges, from thin CBD oils to thick THC distillates. Consistent performance across all of them. The 5 voltage settings give you enough range for any oil.
Lower voltages bring out clear flavor with smooth, cool vapor. Crank it to 3.8V and you get denser clouds but less flavor. Standard tradeoffs for any variable voltage battery.
The Dual Cart Experience
Here's where the Veil Bar Duo earns its keep:
- Day/Night rotation: Sativa for daytime, indica for evening
- CBD/THC combo: Alternate between therapeutic and recreational
- Flavor variety: Switch strains without commitment
- Sharing: Each person gets their own cart
Toggle is instant. Press the button, display updates, take a draw. No threading, no waiting.
Battery Life
650mAh is adequate but not exceptional. With two carts in rotation, expect to charge daily with moderate use. The battery powers whichever cart you select, so capacity per cart is the same as any 650mAh single-cart battery. You're just splitting usage across two.
USB-C charging is fast. Full charge in under an hour.
Who Should Buy This
Get the Veil Bar Duo if you:
- Rotate between multiple cartridges and want instant switching
- Value convenience over minimalism
- Want an LCD display without paying premium prices
- Use a water pipe and want a compatible battery
Skip it if you:
- Prefer button-activated firing for precise control
- Only use one cart at a time
- Need max portability (pen batteries are slimmer)
The Bottom Line
The Cartisan Veil Bar Duo does exactly what it promises: two carts, one device, instant switching. The LCD display and 5 voltage settings justify the chunkier form factor. The water pipe adapter is a nice bonus.
$29 puts it in line with single-cart batteries that do less. If you switch between carts regularly, the Veil Bar Duo removes a small but annoying friction point. Worth it.
