Overview

The Yocan Kodo Pro is an ultra-compact 510 box mod featuring an OLED display screen for real-time voltage, battery, and puff tracking information. With precise 0.1V voltage adjustments from 1.8V to 4.2V, a 10-second preheat function, and USB-C fast charging, the Kodo Pro packs premium features into a pocket-sized package.

Getting Started

Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your Kodo Pro:

1. Locate the USB-C port on the device
2. Connect the included USB-C cable to the device
3. Connect the other end to a USB power source (wall adapter, computer, or power bank)
4. The display will show charging status
5. Allow approximately 30 minutes for a complete charge
6. The display will indicate full charge when complete

Important: Use the included cable or a quality USB-C cable. The fast charging feature works best with standard 5V adapters.

Powering On/Off

• Turn On: Click the power button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds
• Turn Off: Click the power button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds

The display will activate to confirm power on, and will turn off when the device powers down.

Installing a Cartridge

1. Ensure the device is powered off
2. Remove any protective cap from your 510-threaded cartridge
3. Screw the cartridge into the 510 connection on top of the device
4. Hand-tighten only - do not over-tighten
5. Power on the device

Usage Instructions

Basic Operation

1. Power on the device (5 clicks of power button)
2. Install your cartridge by screwing it in hand-tight
3. Set your voltage using the + and - buttons
4. Press and hold the power button while inhaling
5. Watch the display for puff duration
6. Release the button and continue inhaling briefly
7. Exhale and enjoy

The device has a 15-second automatic cutoff for safety.

• + Button: Increase voltage by 0.1V

Preheat Function

The preheat function gently warms your cartridge to thin viscous oils:

1. With the device powered on, double-click the power button
2. The display will indicate preheat is active
3. The device heats at 1.8V for 10 seconds
4. Double-click again to stop preheat early
5. After preheat completes, take your draw normally

When to use preheat:

• First use of a new cartridge
• Thick or viscous oils
• Cold weather conditions
• Cartridge has been sitting unused
• Oil appears settled at bottom of cartridge

Puff Counter Feature

The Kodo Pro tracks your puff count automatically:

• Counter activates after 0.5 seconds of draw time
• Very short puffs may not register
• Count displays on the screen
• Automatically resets to 0 at 9999 puffs

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning the Connection

Regular cleaning ensures reliable performance:

1. Remove the cartridge
2. Use a dry cotton swab to clean the 510 connection threads
3. Gently clean inside the connection point
4. For stubborn residue, lightly dampen the swab with isopropyl alcohol
5. Allow to dry completely before use

Cleaning the Display and Exterior

1. Power off the device
2. Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to wipe the display
3. Clean the exterior with the same cloth
4. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth
5. Avoid getting moisture in the USB port, buttons, or display
6. Never submerge the device in liquid

Troubleshooting

Device Won't Power On

1. Ensure the battery has charge - connect to USB-C charger
2. Click the power button exactly 5 times within 2 seconds
3. Check that USB-C port is clean and undamaged
4. Try a different charging cable or power source
5. Allow device to charge for at least 15 minutes before retrying

Display Not Working

1. Press the power button once to wake the display
2. Ensure device is powered on (5 clicks)
3. Check battery level - very low battery may not power display
4. Charge the device fully
5. If display remains blank after charging, contact support

No Vapor Production

1. Verify cartridge is properly screwed in (hand-tight)
2. Check the display to confirm device is on and voltage is set
3. Ensure cartridge contains oil
4. Try increasing voltage using the + button
5. Use the preheat function for thick oils
6. Clean the 510 connection point
7. Test with a different cartridge to isolate the issue

Weak Vapor

1. Increase voltage using the + button (check display)
2. Ensure cartridge has sufficient oil
3. Use preheat function before drawing
4. Clean connection points
5. Check if cartridge is clogged (clear airway if needed)

Burnt or Harsh Taste

1. Lower the voltage using the - button
2. Allow more time between draws
3. Check cartridge oil level (low oil can cause burning)
4. Clean the connection for better airflow
5. Try a different cartridge

Puff Counter Issues

1. Counter activates after 0.5 seconds - very short puffs won't register
2. Counter automatically resets at 9999 (this is normal)
3. There is no manual reset function
4. If counter doesn't increment at all, verify device is firing properly

Charging Problems

1. Try a different USB-C cable
2. Try a different power source
3. Clean the USB-C port gently with a dry tool (toothpick or compressed air)
4. Ensure cable is fully inserted
5. Allow device to rest at room temperature before charging if hot or cold
