The Yocan Kodo Plus is an enhanced 510 box mod designed for use with standard oil cartridges. Featuring a powerful 900mAh battery, five voltage presets ranging from 2.4V to 4.0V, and an innovative dual-button system, the Kodo Plus delivers versatile performance in an ultra-compact package.

Getting Started
Initial Charge
Before first use, fully charge your Kodo Plus:
- Locate the USB-C port on the device
- Connect the included USB-C cable to the device
- Connect the other end to a USB power source (wall adapter, computer, or power bank)
- The LED will illuminate to indicate charging
- Allow 90-120 minutes for a complete charge
- The LED will turn off or change color when fully charged
Important: Use the included cable or a quality USB-C cable. Avoid fast-charging adapters rated above 5V/2A.
Powering On/Off
- Turn On: Click the top power button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds
- Turn Off: Click the top power button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds
The LED will flash to confirm power on/off.
Installing a Cartridge
- Ensure the device is powered off
- Remove any protective cap from your 510-threaded cartridge
- Screw the cartridge into the 510 connection on top of the device
- Hand-tighten only - do not over-tighten
- Power on the device
Button Layout
The Kodo Plus features two separate buttons:
- Top Button (Power): Power on/off, fire/activate, preheat
- Front Button (Voltage): Cycle through voltage settings
This dual-button design prevents accidental voltage changes during use and reduces pocket activation.
Usage Instructions
Basic Operation
- Power on the device (5 clicks of top button)
- Install your cartridge by screwing it in hand-tight
- Select your voltage using the front button
- Press and hold the top power button while inhaling
- Release the button and continue inhaling briefly
- Exhale and enjoy
The device has a 15-second automatic cutoff for safety.

Click the front voltage button to cycle through the five presets:

Tip: Start at a lower voltage and increase until you find your preferred setting. Lower voltages preserve terpenes and flavor, while higher voltages produce more vapor.

Preheat Function
The preheat function gently warms your cartridge to thin viscous oils:
- With the device powered on, double-click the top power button
- The LED will indicate preheat is active
- The device will warm the cartridge at low power
- After preheat completes, take your draw normally
When to use preheat:
- First use of a new cartridge
- Thick or viscous oils
- Cold weather conditions
- Cartridge has been sitting unused

Charging Tips

Care & Maintenance
Cleaning the Connection
Regular cleaning ensures reliable performance:
- Remove the cartridge
- Use a dry cotton swab to clean the 510 connection threads
- Gently clean inside the connection point
- For stubborn residue, lightly dampen the swab with isopropyl alcohol
- Allow to dry completely before use
Cleaning the Exterior
- Power off the device
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior
- For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth
- Avoid getting moisture in the USB port or buttons
- Never submerge the device in liquid
Cleaning Frequency
- Connection point: Weekly or when switching cartridges

Storage

Troubleshooting
Device Won't Power On
- Ensure the battery has charge - connect to USB-C charger
- Click the top button exactly 5 times within 2 seconds
- Check that USB-C port is clean and undamaged
- Try a different charging cable or power source
- Allow device to charge for at least 30 minutes before retrying
No Vapor Production
- Verify cartridge is properly screwed in (hand-tight)
- Ensure cartridge contains oil
- Try increasing voltage to a higher setting

Weak Vapor

Cartridge Issues

- Hand-tighten only - do not over-tighten

Charging Problems
- Try a different USB-C cable

Using the Lanyard Hole
The Kodo Plus features an integrated lanyard hole for convenient carrying:

- Ideal for events, outdoor activities, or hands-free carrying
