Overview

The Lookah Dragon Egg is a compact, palm-sized electric dab rig designed for portable concentrate consumption. This manual provides complete instructions for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your Dragon Egg to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

The Dragon Egg features a 950mAh rechargeable battery, three voltage settings, and a durable perspex bubbler that provides water filtration in a pocket-friendly package. Understanding proper operation and care will maximize your experience with this device.

Your Lookah Dragon Egg kit includes:

• 1x Lookah Dragon Egg device (base unit with battery)
• 1x Perspex bubbler with magnetic flip cap
• 1x Tempered glass straw mouthpiece
• 1x Detachable downstem
• 2x Type C 710 quartz cup coils (one pre-installed)

Note: USB-C charging cable and dab tool are NOT included. You will need to provide your own USB-C cable for charging and a dab tool for loading concentrates.

Getting Started

Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your Dragon Egg:

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the base of the device
2. Connect a USB-C cable (not included) to the port
3. Connect the other end to a USB power adapter (5V recommended)
4. The LED will illuminate during charging
5. Charge for approximately 90 minutes until fully charged
6. Disconnect when charging is complete

Important: Use only 5V USB adapters. Higher voltage chargers may damage the battery.

Assembling the Device

1. Ensure a 710 quartz cup coil is threaded into the base (one comes pre-installed)
2. Attach the perspex bubbler to the base - it connects magnetically
3. Insert the tempered glass straw into the mouthpiece opening
4. Add water to the bubbler chamber (fill to just above the percolator holes)
5. Attach the magnetic flip cap to the top opening

Powering On/Off

• Turn On: Click the power button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds
• Turn Off: Click the power button 5 times rapidly within 2 seconds
• Auto-Off: Device automatically powers off after 5 minutes of inactivity

When powered on, the LED display will illuminate showing battery level and current voltage setting.

Usage Instructions

Basic Operation

1. Power on the device with 5 rapid clicks
2. Select voltage by double-clicking to cycle through settings
3. Load concentrate by opening the magnetic flip cap and using a dab tool to place a rice-grain sized amount onto the quartz cup coil
4. Close the cap and position the device upright
5. Press and hold the power button to begin heating
6. Wait for preheat - the device has a 10-second preheat cycle
7. Inhale slowly through the glass straw as vapor forms
8. Release the button when finished with your draw
9. Use the carb cap to control airflow and clear remaining vapor

Voltage/Temperature Settings

The Dragon Egg offers three voltage settings accessed by double-clicking the power button:

Tips for voltage selection:

• Start low and increase if desired
• Terpy concentrates taste best on low settings
• Thicker concentrates may require medium or high settings
• High settings consume concentrate faster

Using the Preheat Function

The Dragon Egg includes a 10-second automatic preheat:

1. Press and hold the power button
2. The device enters preheat mode, gently warming the concentrate
3. After 10 seconds, full heating engages
4. Begin inhaling when you see vapor forming
5. The preheat helps melt concentrate evenly for smoother hits

Water Level

Proper water level ensures optimal filtration:

1. Remove the mouthpiece and flip cap
2. Add water through the top opening
3. Fill until water just covers the percolator holes
4. Do not overfill - water should not splash into the mouthpiece
5. Test by drawing without firing - if water reaches your mouth, pour some out

Charging

Charging Procedure

1. Connect a USB-C cable to the charging port on the device base
2. Connect to a 5V USB power source
3. The LED indicator shows charging status
4. Full charge takes approximately 90 minutes
5. Disconnect when fully charged

Battery Indicator

The LED display shows approximate battery level:

• Full illumination: 75-100% charge
• Partial illumination: 25-75% charge
• Low/flashing: Below 25% - charge soon

Charging Safety

• Use only 5V USB adapters
• Do not charge unattended for extended periods
• Avoid charging in extreme temperatures
• Do not use damaged cables
• Disconnect promptly when fully charged

Care & Maintenance

Daily Cleaning

After each session:

1. Allow the device to cool completely
2. Use a cotton swab to wipe excess residue from the coil while slightly warm
3. Wipe the mouthpiece with a clean cloth
4. Empty and rinse the bubbler water

Deep Cleaning (Weekly)

For thorough cleaning:

Bubbler:

1. Remove the bubbler from the base
2. Empty all water
3. Fill with isopropyl alcohol (90%+ recommended)
4. Let soak for 15-30 minutes
5. Rinse thoroughly with warm water
6. Allow to dry completely before reassembly

Coil:

1. Remove the coil from the base by unscrewing
2. Soak in isopropyl alcohol for 30 minutes
3. Use a cotton swab to remove stubborn residue
4. Rinse with warm water
5. Allow to dry completely before reinstalling

Base:

1. Wipe exterior with a slightly damp cloth
2. Do not submerge the base in water - it contains electronics
3. Clean the 710 threading with a dry cotton swab

Storage

For best results when storing your Dragon Egg:

• Empty and dry the bubbler
• Remove the coil if storing long-term
• Store upright in a cool, dry place
• Keep away from direct sunlight
• Store in the original packaging or a protective case

Coil Replacement

Replace the coil when:

• Flavor becomes muted or off
• Vapor production decreases
• Visible buildup cannot be cleaned
• Physical damage is visible

To replace:

1. Unscrew the old coil from the base (counter-clockwise)
2. Dispose of the old coil properly
3. Thread the new coil into place (clockwise)
4. Hand-tighten only - do not overtighten
